The Prisk Foundation was formed in 2008 as a fundraising organization for Prisk Elementary School. The current goal of the Foundation is to provide funding for our school in areas that have been affected by the $90 Million in budget cuts in the last few years and also any future budget cuts. If it were not for funds raised by the Foundation, Prisk would not have had two science lab aides OR two computer lab aides to work in the Science Lab and Computer Lab that our students love so much. For the 2012-2013 school year Prisk Foundation is paying 100% of the salaries for our two science lab aides and our two computer lab aides.
The Foundation is necessary because the Prisk PTA raises funds for the school activities and other needs such as supplies and equipment, but it cannot raise funds for salaries. The Foundation can and your donations are tax deductible! Please help us continue to be the outstanding school that we are by donating to the Prisk Foundation. Join us at the Foundation meetings (very short) on the fourth Tuesday of every month, following the PTA meeting.
